LGA Club Rules and Guidelines

Lao Golf of MN BYLAWS: Overview
Our organization consists of an array of ethnic groups.  Our organization complies with the USGA standards during tournament and outing events.  Our organization standards are of integrity, trust, and respect for the sport and one another. 

Members and non-members are expected to have integrity and show honesty while participating in our events/outing.  

Club Standards and Expectation: Section 1:1
All members and non-members whom participate in our events and outings will comply with these standards with utmost regard towards one another.  
  • Any misleading or dishonesty will not be tolerated and subject to members/non-members termination from events/outings.
  • Any dispute or fights or indication of violent will not be tolerated and subject to criminal and/or prosecution.
  • These guidelines and rules subject to changes without notice and are not limited to statements above.
Club Outing : Section 1:2
All members and non-members whom participate in our events and outings will comply with these standards with utmost regard towards one another.

An outing is defined as a group of members/non-members whom have committed to participate in a weekly tee time scheduled by Directors/Officer of the Lao Golf of MN.  
You must follow the club rules in order to participate:
  • 10% Prize pool will be donated to club organizers for food and/or beverage from the winnings.
    • You may NOT opt out : if you've participated in the prize pool
    • You may opt out: if you DID NOT participated in the prize pool

Dress Code : Section 1:3
All members and non-members whom participate in our events and outings will comply with these standards with utmost regard towards one another.

You represent the Lao Golf of MN during these events.  You represent the Asian race during our events. As a whole you will have the  proper golf attire as a icon to represent our race and our kind.  Because we are ONE through the eyes of many, we need to respect the game and the people that surrounds this sport.  Thank you for your apprehension.

Unacceptable GOLF clothes or attire. You will be ask to comply with these rules when deemed appropriate.
  • Jeans (Long or short)
  • sweat pants
  • Tank tops
  • T-Shirts and T-Shirts with graphics
  • These items listed are deemed to be added and subject to changes by the Lao Golf of MN
Acceptable GOLF clothes or attire.
  • Golf Shirts with collar
  • Dressed Short/Long pants
  • These items listed are deemed to be added and subject to changes by the Lao Golf of MN
Club Tournament Rules: Section 1:4
All members and non-members whom participate in our events and outings will comply with these standards with utmost regards towards one another.
  • Lao Golf of MN adopts the USGA rules and regulations and also defines the organization and club rules that benefits our members and non-members.
